Pre-Mother’s Day Shopping Extravaganza
Astoria Market’s Pre-Mother’s Day shopping extravaganza is this Sunday, April 29th from 12 to 6pm at the Main Hall at Bohemian Hall and Beer Garden.
This event will feature 23 first-time vendors joining some of your favorite regulars, so there should be plenty of cool stuff for mom, or just to treat yourself. Among the first-timers you’ll find yummy chocolates, cupcakes, and food baskets, as well as unique gift items such as hand-painted vases, plant terrariums, lanyard dolls, totes, eco friendly art, and much, much, more!
Of course, you can always go downstairs to the Beer Garden and order up your favorite beer and some authentic Czech and Slovak dishes. You can even bring your beer up to the market and sip while you shop – it’s all part of the Beer Garden! Continue reading

Holiday Shopping Kickoff Event 11/6
Astoria Market at Bohemian Hall welcomes you to join us this coming Sunday the 6th for a day of fun and shopping in the main hall of the world famous Bohemian Hall & Beer Garden from 12-6pm. Besides kicking off the holiday shopping season, we will be celebrating our first anniversary as Astoria’s first and only on-going artisan marketplace.
There are only a handful of markets scheduled between now and the holidays, so be sure to stop by. Not only will you find some of your favorite vendors, but you’ll also get to check out all of the new talent that will be joining the market. Do enter our free giveaway, and have a cup of free hot chocolate (weather depending). And of course, check out the oldest beer garden in New York.
The giveaway/raffle is a beautiful ceramic vase handmade in Thailand by local artisans. This lovely piece was donated to Astoria Market by the great people at HandCrafting Justice.

It’s that time again!
It’s that time again! Astoria Market is open this Sunday, August 7th from 2 to 7pm at the main hall of Bohemian Hall and Beer Garden. Once again, you’ll be able to check out all the new vendors as well as your old favorites.
Astoria Market is the original and only on-going market in the Astoria/Long Island city area. We have worked very hard to keep this market alive and growing in this great community. Even though we are competing with the ‘market big boys’ from Brooklyn and Manhattan, we have managed to hold our own since our opening in November 2010.
We also sponsor local non-profit organizations, and our market helps to support the Bohemian Citizen’s Benevolent Society of Astoria which provides children’s events and foreign language studies for the community.
We thank you so much for all your support and ask you to continue to spread the word about us. So please invite a friend or family member to join you in shopping for the unique items at the cozy and air conditioned market, and then have a bite to eat along with your favorite beer in the famous beer garden.
