Pre-St. Patty’s Day Market – March 10th

Astoria Market invites you to join us for our Pre-St. Patty’s Day Event on Sunday, March 10th! The market will be held out of the Main Hall at Bohemian Hall & Beer Garden from 12 to 6pm. This should be a great day for some early spring shopping and enjoying the world famous food and drink at the beer garden. Check out their menu here.

Astoria-based HandCrafting Justice will be there and they are generously donating a prize for our raffle. Entry to the raffle is free. One lucky winner will win a beautiful Batik raw silk shawl handcrafted by women in Thailand at the Isan Center.

And we have some wonderful food vendors who will be participating at this particular event. And quite a few of them are also new to Astoria Market! Come by to sample biscotti, brownies, cookies, chocolate covered pretzels, empanadas, marshmallow dipped in white chocolate, and more.

 

Plus, there will also be goodies for guests while supplies last.

Pre-Valentine’s Day Shopping Event

Astoria Market invites you to join us for our Pre-Valentine’s Day Shopping Event on Sunday, February 10th! The market will be held out of the Main Hall at Bohemian Hall & Beer Garden from 12 to 6pm.

Shoppers will be able to cruise around the wonderful handmade and vintage wares, then head downstairs to Bohemian Hall’s restaurant & bar for a beer and delicious traditional Czech & Slovak pork fest menu, easily making it an all-day affair.

Last Minute Holiday Shopping Extravaganza

Astoria Market invites you to join us for our Last Minute Holiday Shopping Extravaganza this coming Saturday and Sunday, December 22nd & 23rd from 12 to 6pm in the main hall of the world famous Bohemian Hall and Beer Garden. Just follow the red balloons and signs up the front steps!

With just a few days before the holidays, and with a full house of fantastic vendors, you’re sure to find that special gift you’re looking for such as art, jewelry, toys, chocolates, body care, handbags, clothing, stationery, scarves and hats, pottery, and more!

Also, don’t forget that you can always go downstairs and get a bite to eat along with your favorite beer. Or, go get a beer and sip on it while you shop – it’s allowed!

By the way, there will also be eggnog, chestnuts, hot apple cider, and other holiday favorites on the menu.

Holiday Market at Old First Reformed Church – December 1st 12-4pm

On Saturday, December 1st the Carroll Street Holiday Market will debut out of the charming Old First Reformed Church located right on the corner of 7th Avenue and Carroll Street. The venue is just a few blocks away from Grand Army Plaza and Prospect Park, while being surrounded by numerous shops and restaurants.

The market will be situated in Old First’s 2500 sq ft Hall with its open, bright, and airy feeling. The Hall regularly hosts choirs, lectures, recitals, and cultural events. The market event will

 feature handmade wares designed by NYC-based artisans. This holiday event will also highlight HandCrafting Justice; they provide access to Fair Trade markets for unique, handmade goods created by enterprising women in the developing world.

Do come by to check out the 30 plus vendors that will be featuring their unique handcrafted and vintage wares out of the spacious lower hall. You’re sure to find amazing holiday gifts such as art, jewelry, toys, chocolates, body care, handbags, clothing, stationery, scarves and hats, pottery, and more!
