During this season of giving, Astoria Market teams up with Handcrafting Justice—a program that provides access to Fair Trade crafts and goods made by women around the world—to present the first ever Carroll Street Holiday Markets. Gifts from the 2,500 square-foot Hall at the Old First Reformed Church will provide money to artisans working to get their families out of poverty.

Summer-Luvin Pop Up Event – August 5th

Astoria Market invites you to join us for a day of fun and shopping at the Summer-Luvin Pop Up Event at Break Bar & Billiards on Broadway in Astoria. This event is set for Sunday, August 5th from 12 to 4pm.

Break Bar is Astoria’s ultimate entertainment destination with tons of fun activities such as billiards, ping-pong, darts, air hockey, vintage arcades, fooseball, and hoops. At 7,000 sq ft with exposed brick, soaring ceilings, and a cool industrial feel, Break offers the perfect atmosphere for a fun day.

On August 5th, you’ll not only be able to check out the unique vendors at Break and play games, but you can  also enjoy a great variety of American comfort food, and a rotating selection of 18 drafts on tap – making for a perfect Sunday.

So, please come by and check out the 30 plus vendors that will be featuring their unique handcrafted wares such as art, jewelry, body care, bags, tees, chocolates and more!

Pre-Mother’s Day Shopping Extravaganza

Astoria Market’s Pre-Mother’s Day shopping extravaganza is this Sunday, April 29th from 12 to 6pm at the Main Hall at Bohemian Hall and Beer Garden.

This event will feature 23 first-time vendors joining some of your favorite regulars, so there should be plenty of cool stuff for mom, or just to treat yourself. Among the first-timers you’ll find yummy chocolates, cupcakes, and food baskets, as well as unique gift items such as hand-painted vases, plant terrariums, lanyard dolls, totes, eco friendly art, and much, much, more!

Of course, you can always go downstairs to the Beer Garden and order up your favorite beer and some authentic Czech and Slovak dishes. You can even bring your beer up to the market and sip while you shop – it’s all part of the Beer Garden!

Remember, we’re right up the front steps and straight into the Main Hall, or from the Garden, go up the steps near the outdoor grill.  We look forward to seeing you there.
